represents the body of Christ at His last supper (St. Luke 22:15-20). Baptism water is symbolic of our following Jesus in His baptism (St. Matthew 3:16,17). That is all that Saint Matthew’s Churches’ free prayer rugs are. They are simple symbols of dedicated holy places in a home, reminding us to set aside prayer and meditation times for our Lord and Savior.

Saint Matthew's Church believes that in faith the Apostle Paul sent forth handkerchiefs, “and the evil spirits went out of them [the sick]” (Acts 19:11,12).  Sometimes Saint Matthew’s Church gives away free biblical, prayer, faith handkerchiefs to represent the Apostle Paul’s act of faith.

There was no holy, magic power in the Apostle Paul’s handkerchiefs or aprons.  Those pieces of cloth simply triggered faith in the believers’ lives, and that is why the St Matthew's Church bishops, from time to time, give away handles of faith to our members and people whom Saint Matthew's Church wants to invite to our church services.  St Matthew's Church bishops give these
items of faith away free of charge to stimulate the believers’
faith
, just as we do Holy Communion wafers, representing
the body of Christ (St. Luke 22:19).

Saint Matthew's Church also gives holy anointing
oil
, as the Bible instructs us: “Is any sick among
you? Let him call for the elders of the church;
and let them pray over him, anointing him with
oil in the name of the Lord
: And the prayer
of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord
shall raise him up…” James 5:14,15.
There is no power or magic in holy
anointing oil.  The power is in the faith.
