The clergy conduct special dedication church services wherein babies, young children
and teenagers are dedicated to God that His grace and blessings be upon
them. St Matthew's Church believes that it is very important to parents
that their children begin their Christian education early, and if
possible even get them into a Christian church and school.
Annual basketball and soccer camps are held at Saint Matthew’s mother
church, in Texas, where there is an air-conditioned gymnasium for
basketball and a lighted soccer and baseball field for night games, to
encourage young people to become physically and spiritually healthy
Christians. Saint Matthew's Church endeavors to keep our young people
off the streets and away from gangs and drugs and encourage them to
obtain an education and listen to their parents, grandparents and
teachers in Saint Matthew’s Churches and other churches they choose to
attend. There are 300,000 churches in the United States, and 99 percent
are wonderful churches that teach the Bible as God’s Holy Word. As we
mentioned, if you cannot get to a Saint Matthew’s Church, we encourage
everyone to attend a good church and support that church and its pastor
with your tithes and offerings.
As God’s churches, we bless items of faith such as Holy Communion wafers,
representing Christ’s last supper, where Christ told us “this do in
remembrance of me.” St. Luke 22:19,20. We mail Holy Communion wafers to
our members’ homes, because we, at Saint Matthew’s Churches, believe
that God can answer your prayers in a home just as if you were in one of
Saint Matthew’s church services. Some of you, for various reasons, may
not be able to attend a church on a regular basis.
Saint Matthew's Church mails, free
of charge, prayer faith church candles, holy Bible anointing oil, Bible
handkerchiefs, prayer cloths, and other biblical faith items to help
people release their faith up to God (James 5:14, Acts 19:11,12, St.
Matthew 18:19). There is no power in the faith items. They are simply
meant to help you focus your faith on God. St Matthew's Church also
mails biblical prayer rugs to help people remember to set aside a time
and place in their homes for prayer and meditation. Saint Matthew’s
Churches sells nothing. We give everything away, free of charge, as
Jesus instructed us: “Freely ye have received, freely give.” St. Matthew
10:8. Saint Matthew's Church does not judge others who do sell gospel
items, but as long as God provides, we shall continue to send the Gospel
free of any charge, as we have for more than half of a century.
Saint Matthew’s Church preaches and teaches the scriptural principle of
tithes and offerings and God’s blessings, according to the Scriptures.
However, no one has to give offerings to Saint Matthew’s Church. It is
not required. We receive free will donations.
“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in
mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I
will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing,
that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the
devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your
ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the
field, saith the Lord of hosts.” Malachi 3:10. |
